Exodus 12

There is a lot in this chapter! I found interesting that God commanded the Israelites to eat the Passover meal, "with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand." (vs. 11) There is a foreshadowing of Christ's sacrifice in the Passover. When we accept that sacrifice we are called to be ready (as the Israelites are called to be ready here) to venture out into the great unknown armed with nothing but faith that God will provide for our needs.
